A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence T. Tobias, 94, of Logansport will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009 at All Saints Catholic Church.


She died at 11:55 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2009 at Millerchr(39)s Merry Manor in Logansport.


Born on January 16, 1915 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kuntz) Petrie. She was married to the late Mark Tobias and he preceded her in death on June 26, 1967.


She was a graduate of St. Josephchr(39)s Commerial school and a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society and the Daughters of Isabella.


Florence was formerlyA�secretary of the purchasing department at RBM and she also formerly worked in the office at RCA and Fisher Insurance Agency.


Survivors include sisters, Anna M. Petrie of Logansport and Evelyn J. Dietze and husband Herman of Monticello, sister in laws, Helen L. Petrie of Las Vegas, Nevada and Eunice Busler of Burnettsville. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by brothers John and Anthony Petrie and sisters, Henrietta Laing and Mary Marocco.


Father Jeff Martin will officiate at the services and burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.


Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., where there will also be a Scripture Service at 6:00 p.m. and a Daughters of Isabella Service thereafter.


Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
