Floyd W. Hartwell, Jr.

Floyd W. Hartwell, Jr., 74 of Logansport passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the St. Vincent’s
Hospice Center in Indianapolis.
Born on January 30, 1949 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Floyd and Alma (Moffitt) Hartwell, Sr.
He retired from Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport in 2021 after 20 years.
Floyd enjoyed woodworking, watching Westerns, mushroom hunting and spending time with family.
Survivors include sons, Floyd “Bill” Hartwell, III (Tracy) of Argos, Ryan Hartwell of Argos and Thomas
Miller (Rose) of Colorado, daughters, Lori Bartling of Logansport, Jenny White (Brian) of Plymouth and
Amanda Murphy (Morgan) of Ft. Wayne. He is also survived by one brother, one sister, ten
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
