Services for Floyd W. Wootten, 82, of Logansport will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel. He died at 5:45 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2009 at his residence. Born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on June 22, 1926, he was the son of the late Otho and Mary (Badders) Wootten. On March 6, 1954 he married Millicent F. Healey, she survives. Floyd retired from United Tech, Inc., Logansport in 1988 after 41 years. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. Survivors include his wife, Millicent F. Wootten of Logansport, son, Jim P. Wootten of Russiaville, son, Preston Wade Wootten and wife Marilyn of Logansport, daughter, Mary L. Centers and husband John of Logansport, son, Dan D. Wootten and wife Angie of Logansport, brother, Chester Wootten and wife Shirley of Logansport, sister, Madgeline Zeider of Logansport, grandchildren, Phillip Bryant of Oceanside, CA., Millicent Wootten, Natasha Ingle and husband Elgin, Marissa Centers, Jack Centers, Johnny Centers, Tiffany Wootten, Derek Wagner, Aaron Wagner, and Evan Viscarra all of Logansport, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Pastor Terri White will officiate and burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
