Services for Frances E. Ross, 88, of Logansport will be at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
She passed away at 11:42 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Chase Center, Logansport.
Born October 18, 1920 in Young America, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Mable (Fouts) Nelson.A� On April 17, 1948 she married Robert E. Ross, he survives.
She was a 1939 Graduate of Young America High School.
Frances was formerly employed at General Tire, Olsonchr(39)s Department Store and Brookpark Roylon, she was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church and a former member of Center E.U.B., and Faith United Methodist Church. She also participated in sewing club, P.T.A. and other school activities and she was also a Girl Scout Leader.
Frances enjoyed keeping house and being a caregiver to her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert E. Ross of Logansport, daughter Cheryl Rothgeb and her husband Bill of Overland Park, Kansas, 2 grandsons, Greg and Brad Rothgeb of Overland Park, Kansas, sister-in-laws, Sarah Nelson, Doris Nelson, Frances Craig and husband Don, and JoAnn Ross and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her son, Barney Joe Ross and brothers, William and Franklin Nelson and sister, Mary Alice Kitchel.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the funeral home.
Pastor Tom DeFries will officiate and burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
