Francis Carmin LeDonne

Francis C. LeDonne, 86, of Walton, passed away at 8:52 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 9, 1928 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Menonz and Mary (Riccardi) LeDonne.  On November 25, 1948 he married Imogene Petrie at St. Jospeh’s Catholic Church by Msg. Achinger.

He was a 1946 Washington Township High School graduate.

Francis was a lifelong farmer.  He also was a meat cutter at Standard Foods and he had formerly worked at Jackson Kitchell Implement in Logansport.  Francis also was a former Bus Driver for Washington Township School Corporation.

He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and he was a Farm Bureau member.  He enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Imogene LeDonne of Walton, daughter, Diana Flamino (Don) of Kokomo, sons, Jeff LeDonne of Logansport and David LeDonne (Cathy) of Walton, sisters, Mary Miller, Annie LeDonne, and Nita LeDonne all of Logansport and brother, Eugene LeDonne (Shirley) of Logansport, grandchildren, Derek Lynas (Janna), Melissa Schmadeke (Bill), Kyle Lynas (Stephanie), Josh LeDonne, Christina Truax  and Bradley LeDonne and great grandchildren, Brian LeDonne, Amelia, Hope, Mac, and Mesfin Lynas, Tyler and Nathan Schmadeke and Matthew, Luke and Emma Lynas.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Robert LeDonne and sister, Alice Jean Marshall.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Father Michael McKinney officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2015 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
