Frank Diveley, 84, of Rochester passed away at 9:05 a.m., Friday, December 07, 2012 at his residence. Born on February 16, 1928 in Grass Creek, he was the son of the late Edgar and Josephine (Myers) Diveley. On May 16, 1953 he married Marilyn Korreckt, she survives. He was a 1947 graduate of Royal Center High School. Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in WWII as a machine gunner aboard the B-29 Super Fortress stationed in Guam. He was a lifelong farmer. Frank was a member of the V.F.W. #3790 in Logansport and he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his pond. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Diveley of Rochester, son, Daniel F. Diveley (Jenny) of Rochester, sisters, June Dempsey of Royal Center and Carolyn Cox of Mooresville, grandchildren, Sommer Halterman (Derek) of Fulton, Jill Robinson (Dave) of Indianapolis, John Diveley of Rochester and Catherine Diveley of Kewanna and great grandchildren, Lane Halterman of Fulton and Stone Robinson of Indianpolis. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Diveley. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Harrison- Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be performed at Grass Creek Cemetery.
