Franklin Dale Weaver, 87 of Royal Center passed away unexpectedly at 1:15 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at home.
He was born on March 11,1937, in Bell Center, to the late David and Ethel (Suiter) Weaver.
He was a 1955 graduate of Royal Center High School.
Frank proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran, demonstrating honor and dedication throughout his service.
On September 15, 1963, he married Nancy L. Schultz. She recently preceded him in death on February 2, 2025. Frank now walks the horizon to a new life with Nancy in hand.
Frank was a devoted husband and father who retired as a superintendent at Monon Trailer. His life was defined by hard work and an unwavering dedication to farming. Frank was also a former member of the Royal Center Lions Club and the Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center. He cherished his time with his beloved dog, Tinley, affectionately known as Scooby, who passed away just three days after him.
Survivors include his sons, Wesley Weaver (Mary) of Indianapolis, Rodney Weaver (Laura) of Cutler and Todd Weaver (Myka) of Ft. Wayne, sisters Alberta Grable of Star City and Leota Green of Bend, Oregon, grandchildren, Emersyn, Marlowe, Cory, Holly, Adam, Taylor, Janzen, Ryan, Reiss, Tori and Christana and great grandchildren, Luke, Jake and Reggie.
Frank was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers David, Walter, Donnie, and Lloyd Weaver, and sisters Irene Lawson, Dorthy Veach, Bonnietta Barnes and grandson Todd Trefts.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory,
Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial with military rites will be performed at Bell Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
