Gerald A. Lombardi, Sr.

Gerald A. “Jerry” Lombardi, Sr., 76, of Logansport passed away at 5:15 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Franciscan Health Hospital East in Lafayette.

Born on October 27, 1944 in Logansport, he was the son of the late John and Marianna (Pasquale) Lombardi.

Jerry attended St. Vincent’s Parochial School and was a 1963 Logansport High School graduate.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

On November 16, 1969 he married Kathleen Laing, she survives.

Jerry was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Logansport Elks Club, Eagles, the Italian American Club, Exchange Club and the Logansport Evening Euchre Club.

He owned and operated Mike’s Auto Service since 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Lombardi of Logansport, son, Tony Lombardi (Angie) of Logansport, daughter, Andrea Golden of Melbourne, Florida, sister, Deloris Wolfe of Logansport, brother, Don Lombardi (Barb) of Logansport, grandchildren, Trey and Jenna Golden of Melbourne, Florida.

He was also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters, son in law, James Golden, Jr., sister in law, Ann Laing and his first wife, Brenda Lombardi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2021 of All Saints Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Due to the current Covid restrictions only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
