Gloria D Scales, 68, of Wabash formerly of Evansville passed away peacefully on Friday, May 7, 2021at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash with her family by her side.
Born on September 27, 1952 in Evansville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Gladys (Huff) Walden.
Gloria formerly owned and operated Riverfront Grocery Store in Evansville and she was also a retired Dietary Aid.
She leaves behind a daughter, Angela Marie Rheilander and companion Rich, sons, Andrew Michael Scales and wife Cheyanne and Allan Scales and wife Danielle, grandchildren, Ashlynn Scales, Ian Rheilander and Ashton Scales and a great grandchild which will be born in December, sisters, Lynn and Jack Wall and Judy and Ronnie Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews which was all dear and near to her heart.
She was also preceded in death by her late husband of 20 years, Michael C Scales, two sisters Jane Hodges and Betty Dale, brothers Paul Ray and Larry Walden and a sister in law who she cherished dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
The family would like to personally thank the staff at Autumn Ridge and Heartland Hospice for takin care of our mother and making her feel loved and making her as peaceful as possible. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Autumn Ridge and/or Heartland Hospice in memory of our mother.
