A Mass of the Resurrection will be held for Helen J. Summers, 89, of Boulder, Colorado formerly of Logansport at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 5, 2007 at All Saintchr(39)s Catholic Church in Logansport, Indiana.

Helen passed away on December 1, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Colorado.

Born November 28, 1918 in Logansport to the late Albert and Catherine (Hollie) Berndt.  On June 1, 1942 she married Alvin ??Jay?i�� Summers in Salinas, California.  He preceded her in death on November 7, 1990.

Mrs. Summers attended St. Josephchr(39)s Parish School and Logansport High School.  She was a member of All Saintchr(39)s Catholic Church.

She retired from United Technology in 1983 and moved to Boulder, Colorado in June of 1993.

Helen enjoyed gardening, wildlife and her children and grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister Louise Berndt and one brother Carl Berndt.

Survivors include 3 sons, Steve and his wife Brenda of Boulder, Colorado, Greg and his wife Barb of Fremont, Indiana and Mike and his wife Laura of Longmont, Colorado, 6 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and one sister, Elizabeth Long of Logansport.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday December 5, 2007 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport, Indiana  46947.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Boulder and Broomfield Counties in c/o of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont, Colorado  80501.
