Services for Henry E. Keiser, 85 of Idaville will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
He passed away at 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 7, 2009 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Marion.
Born June 9, 1924 in Sullivan County, Indiana he was the son of the late Clyde and Elsie (Williams) Keiser. On March 12, 1965 he married Barbara J. Danford and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1991.
Mr. Keiser formerly worked as a pipefitter and was also a retired White County farmer.
He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a member of the Plummer & Pipefitters Local 172 in South Bend since 1956 and the Royal Center Masonic Lodge 585. Henry also enjoyed hunting.
Survivors are his son, Philip T. Keiser of Idaville, brother, Clyde A. Keiser and wife Janet of Inverness, Florida, and one niece and three nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles L. Keiser.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the funeral home where there will also be a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by the Royal Center Masonic Lodge 585.
Burial will be in Bell Center Cemetery, Idaville where military rites will be performed.
