Irma J. Pfost, 80, of Rochester, formerly of Hobart, passed away peacefully at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born February 16, 1934 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Johanna Apfelbacher.
Irma was a retired Respiratory Therapist. She had formerly worked in Kentucky, Idaho and Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Sonya Alasevich of Valparaiso, Ellen Catanzarite (Todd) of Rochester, Linda Alasevich Jaeger of Rochester, Dona Streetman of Valparaiso, Tim Edmaiston (Tina) of Rochester and Monica Edmaiston of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Erika Grasham, Chad Grinder, Nicholas Alasevich, Leah Streetman, Luke Streetman, Charlie Streetman, Daniel Delarosa and Danielle Delarosa, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pfost in 2006, one son, Peter Alasevich and one brother.
There will be no services.
