James W. Custer

James W. Custer, 82, of Logansport passed away at 9:55 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2018 at Chase Center.
Born on February 5, 1935 in Logansport he was the son of the late William and Marie (Buchholy) Custer.
James was a U.S. Army veteran and he retired from Federal Mogul in Logansport. His nickname around town was the “weather man”.
Survivors include his cousins, Jean Meyers of Georgia and Sandra Burkhart of Ft. Wayne.
He was also preceded in death his brother, Charles H. Custer.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial with Military Rites will be conducted at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
