James L. Utter, 68, of Logansport passed away at 3:55 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport. Born on June 9, 1943 in Wabash, he was the son of the late Arbie and Dorothy (Biggs) Utter. He was formerly employed at Peters Revington Furniture in Delphi. Jim was a member of the Logansport Eagles and he was an avid Nascar Fan. Survivors include his children, Michael Utter of Warsaw, James Utter, Jr. of Warsaw, Christina Hall of Panama City, Florida and Terri Holland of Warsaw, brothers, Richard Utter of Logansport, Mark Utter of Logansport, Steve Utter of Rochester and Joseph Utter of Logansport, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 1 grandson and sisters, Karen Puttman and Julie Hite. Visitation and Services will be private.
