James P. Wootten

James P. Wootten, 56, of Logansport, died at 1:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 in his residence.
Born on May 12, 1955 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Floyd W. Wootten and Millicent F. (Healey) Wootten, she survives.
He was a retired construction worker who was formerly employed at Brown Construction Company. He was an avid Nascar and sports fan.
Survivors include his mother, Millicent F. Wootten, of Logansport, son, Phillip Bryant of Oceanside, California, brothers; Dan Wootten and wife Angie and Preston Wootten and wife Marilyn, and sister, Mary Centers and husband John, all of Logansport. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Teri White officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Paint Creek Cemetery in Camden.
