Jason B. Hickle

January 18, 1971 — December 31, 2020

Lafayette

Jason B. Hickle, 49, of Lafayette, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 12:23 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at I.U Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on January 18, 1971 in Logansport, he was the son of Guy and Connie (Richardson) Hickle.

Jason attended St Joseph Catholic School for his elementary years and was a 1989 Logansport High School graduate.  His career was a Project Specialist at Rotech Healthcare in Lafayette and formerly worked as an attendant at Logansport State Hospital.

Jason had many passions throughout his life.  He was an avid Chicago Cubs and New England Patriots fan and was the true definition of a “Fanatic”, rarely missing an inning of a Cubs game or a down of football on Sunday’s. Jason was a TRUE Superman of sports and comic knowledge, which was fitting as Superman was his favorite comic book character.  In his youth, Jason also enjoyed bowling in a league with his friends, known as “The 5 Horsemen” and even took part in amateur wrestling where he was known as “Hot Rod Hickle.”

Survivors include his parents, Guy and Connie Hickle of Logansport, brothers, Ryan (Jennifer)Hickle of Lafayette and Andy (Stephenie) Hickle of Portage, nephews, Brent Hickle of Lafayette and Drew Hickle of Portage, niece, Alexus Hickle (Kyle Cooper) of Hebron, great niece, Harper Rose Diane Hickle of Lafayette, great nephew, Leland Riley Cooper of Hebron and uncles, Rick (Jackie) Petrie of Lucerne and Carl (Charlotte) Hickle of Wolcott.  He is also survived by numerous cousins and his beloved cat, Piglet.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Francis “Nana P” Petrie, Robert and Martha Hickle and his aunt, Debbie “Boom” Richardson.
