Jeanette T. Johnsen

Jeanette T. Johnsen, 89 of Winamac formerly of Chicago, died at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
Born November 9, 1920 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Martha (Kurr) Krauss. Mrs. Johnsen was a homemaker and had lived in Winamac for 25 years. She enjoyed embroidering and in her younger days, she liked to dance.
Surviving are daughters, Joan Bendel of Winamac and Jacqueline M. Roush of Lafayette, brothers, Anton Krauss of Chicago and George Krauss of Glenellen, IL., 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Karl Johnsen and a son, Joseph James Johnsen.
There are no services or visitation at this time. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
