Jeanette M. Newell

Jeanette M. Newell, 67 of Camden passed away at 9:46 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne after a long illness.

Born on February 12, 1955 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marie (Heron) Rairdon.

On December 30, 1978, she married Arthur Newell.

Jeanette was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, playing pool and riding with Art on his motorcycle. She also enjoyed her cats.

Survivors include her husband, Art Newell of Camden, step-sons, Timothy A. Newell of Logansport and Daniel A. Newell of Lutz, Florida, daughter, Nicole Strasser of Louisiana, brother, John Rairdon of Oregon and sister, Elaine. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
