Jeffrey M. Brumett, 57, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 1:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014 at his residence.
Born on November 16, 1956 in Logansport, he was the son of Gerald and Shirley (Pack) Brumett.
In April of 1979, he married Janice James, who survives.
He was a Grade A welder by profession and he was most recently employed at Girtz Incorporated in Monticello. Jeff was an avid hunter who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Brumett of Logansport, his parents, Gerald and Shirley Brumett of French Lick, children; Michael Brumett (Melissa) , Jesse Brumett (Deanna), and Alicia Brumett all of Logansport, grandsons; William Brumett, Nate Hopper, Trenten Brumett, and Jayden Brumett, and granddaughters; Colleena Brumett, Alexis Brumett, Ryleigh Ryan, Chyla Hopper, Kyla Brumett, and Jayci Brumett all of Logansport.
He was preceded in death by brothers; Rodney and Randy Brumett.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Marocco a�" Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Payton officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
