Joetta S. Wilson, 73 of Logansport passed away at 1:55 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2024, at home surrounded by family.
Born on April 30, 1951, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (Seward) Stanton.
She was a homemaker.
Joetta enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel, the show Heartland and most of all game shows.
Survivors include her daughters, Katrina Hancock (Steve Moss) of Logansport and Tina Johnson (Holly Knight), grandchildren, Elisha Hancock, Ashley Martin, Jordan Martin and Devyn Juday, Jason Knight, Alexis Knight Tyler Moss, Matt Moss and Nathaniel Moss, great grandchildren, Alianna Davis, Adrianna Davis, Adalee Davis, Harmony Clark and one on the way in November and brother, Harold Stanton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Wilson, Jr., son, Danny Johnson, great granddaughter, Kiayah Johnson and siblings, Sharon Bartak, CJ Tolson and Clarence Stanton, Jr.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, especially Kylie Molebash for her wonderful care and Help at Home and especially, Julie for her wonderful care as well.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel. Chaplain Kevin Conklin will officiate.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
