Memorial Services for John W. Frasa, 49, of Suffolk, Virginia formerly of Kewanna will be held at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel, Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
He died at 2:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Virginia.
Born December 15, 1958 in Cicero, Illinois, he was the son of Norman J. Frasa, Sr. and Dorothy J. Hubeny.
He was a 1977 Kewanna High School Graduate.
John was a former Truck Driver and Airline Mechanic and most recently owned and operated a Thomas Kinkaid Art and John Deere toy store in Suffolk. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, airplanes and John Deere toys.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy J. Frasa of Kewanna; 4 sisters, Nancy L. Carlson and husband Timothy, Teresa A. Sailors and husband Jon, Susan L. Hilton and husband Edward and Bonnie J. Frasa, all of Kewanna; 1 brother, Jerry L. Frasa and wife Jessica of Winamac, and 1 aunt, Lois Ulerick of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his father, Norman J. Frasa, Sr. and brother Norman J. Frasa, Jr.
Father Bert Woolson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Kewanna at a later date.
