Memorial Services for John P. Lamb, 63, of Logansport will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday July 25, 2008 at the First Assembly of God, 831 Burlington Ave, Logansport.
He died at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the Caring Hands Healthcare Center, Peru.
Born on June 16, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John K. and Dorothy (Hunter) Lamb.A� On August 10, 1975 he married DeAnna S. (Smith) Brown, she survives.
He attended Aubenaubee School in Leiters Ford, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran retiring after 20 years from the Air Force Reserves, and was also a retired Guard from the Miami County Prison.
John was a member of the First Assembly of God and was an avid gun collector.
Survivors include his wife, DeAnna S. Lamb of Loganport, 1 son Dana Brown and wife Debra of Barnesville, Georgia, 1 daughter, Kristeen Weed of Zionsville, 1 sister Pauline Beery and husband Jack of Rochester, 9 Grandsonchr(39)s and 1 Great Grandson.A� He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
