John Nicholas Puzzella
July 20, 1930 — October 24, 2010
John Nicholas Puzzella, 80, of Royal Center formerly of Logansport passed away at 2:50 p.m., Sunday, October 24, 2010 at his residence.
Born on July 20, 1930 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Nick and Estherina (Passereni) Puzzella.
He attended St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. John was a U.S. Army veteran and he was also an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
He retired from Conrail Railroad in 1990 where he worked in the maintenance department as a plumber and pipefitter.
John drew others to him with his special sense of humor and he touched the hearts of so many. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
Survivors include his brothers, James Puzzella of Royal Center and Anthony Puzzella and wife Betty of Logansport, sister, Marie Walters of Logansport, nephews, Richard Guerra and wife Connie of Mishawaka, Daniel Guerra of Mishawaka, Edward Puzzella and wife Roxanne of St. Louis, Missouri, John Puzzella and wife Lexy of Indianapolis, Gary Puzzella and wife Tammy of Logansport, James Albrecht of Logansport and Kenny Bisacchi and wife Martha of Lake Village, niece, Jodene Scheetz and husband Tom of Logansport and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Olga Guerra, brothers, Yato Bisacchi and Edward Bisacchi and brother in laws, Dick Walters and Adam A�A�?A�A...?MossieA�A�?A�i�� Guerra.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Marocco Funeral Chapel in Logansport where there will also be a Scripture Service held at 7:30 p.m.
Burial with Military Rites will be conducted at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Logansport.
