John E. Scripter

John E. Scripter, 62, of South Bend passed away peacefully at 7:11 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his residence.
Born on November 5, 1952 in Rensselaer, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Linton) Scripter. On June 12, 2002 he married Shawna Keb, she survives.
He was a former truck driver and a stay at home dad.
John enjoyed football, Nascar races, and all extracurricular activities.
Survivors include his wife, Shawna Scripter of South Bend, daughters, Angel Scripter (Scott Hunter) of Royal Center, and Brittany Hostetler of Logansport and son, John D. Scripter of South Bend. He is also survived by 3 brother, 2 sisters, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister.
Memorial Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
