Services for Josephine R. Burks, 81, of Dothan, Alabama, formerly of Logansport will be held at 11 a.m., Friday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 10 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2007 in Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL.
Born July 31, 1925 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Badnosh) Jeroski. She was married August 15, 1946 in Logansport to William T. Burks, who survives.
A homemaker, Josephine had belonged the the American Legion Auxiliary Post 60 in Logansport. She was also a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, William J. Burks and his wife, Vickie, and John L. Burks, all of Dothan; one brother, Anthony Jeroski, Kewanna; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Deacon Juan Rodriguez will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour before services Friday in the funeral chapel.
