Josephine D. Forte

Josephine D. Forte, 93, of Logansport passed away at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her residence.
Born on May 10, 1921 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Tambascia) Forte.
Josephine formerly worked at the H.W. Gossard and she retired from Controls in 1984.
Josephine was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and she enjoyed feeding her stray cats, watching TV, playing Solitaire and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include her nephews, Robert N. Sabatini (Nancy) of Logansport and Gerald Donato Fitz (Connie) of Monticello. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Nicholas Forte and sisters, Incoronate Sabatini, Armenia Frese, Angeline Fitz, and Catherine Forte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dominic Petan officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
