Josephine Travnicek

Josephine Travnicek, 85, of Fowler formerly of Logansport, passed away at 4:45 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Greenhill Manor in Fowler, Indiana.
Born on June 17, 1926 in Czechoslovakia to the late Edward and Ann Janker, Josephine married Frank Travnicek in 1946, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2002.
Josephine was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include sons: Frank and wife Carol Travnicek Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona, and Joseph and wife Janice Travnicek of Bremon and daughter, Irene and husband Tom Knouff of Fowler. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister, Irene Janker.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2011 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Logansport with Father Mike McKinney officiating.
