Joyce Ann (Cripe) Bauman, 80, of Flora formerly of Logansport went to be with the Lord at 7:21 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
Born on April 29, 1935 in Wolcott, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Edna (Sheets) Cripe. On January 30, 1954 she married Frederick L. Bauman, Jr. and he preceded her in death on January 25, 1997.
Joyce and her husband formerly owned and operated Bauman’s Pest Service and she also had been employed at New Beginnings Daycare.
She was a member of Revolution Church in Logansport and she enjoyed winter with her sister in Arizona and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Ennetta “E.J.” Kistler (Bill) of Logansport, Lisa Hite (Curtis) of Flora and Blayne Cooper (Chris Cook) of Columbia City, sisters, Phyllis Cooley of Goodland, Gladys Gottfried of Mansfield, Ohio and Fran Harper of Mesa, Arizona, grandchildren, Suze Bauman, Josh Bell, Shaun Hamm, Brock Hite, Petie Hamm II, Daniel Hite, Khaley Hamm, Kameron Cooper and Kolton Cooper and great grandchildren, Adi Musselman, Trenton Brumett, Kyla-Reed Brumett, Raine Hamm, Milyn Hamm, Swayzee Hite and Mikaela Sanchez-Hite.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and David Bauman and brothers, James, Robert and Jack Cripe.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Jordan officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Revolution Church.
