Judy Lynn Barton

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Judy Lynn, our loving mother and friend to many.

She left us unexpectantly while sleeping on August 9, 2021 at 8:05 a.m.  She was 51 years old.

Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on October 16, 1969, she was the first love of her parents, Roosevelt Barnett and Judy (Gibson) Brooksher. They survive.

She met her husband of 39 years, Randy, in Middlesboro, Kentucky and they wed in July, 1982.  He survives.

She was a beloved mother of Brandy (Kenny), Brittney, and Bryan (Tonya), a proud grandmother of Kyndale, Mason, Kaiden, Miley, Makilynn, and Treven, a loving sister of Joyl (Tim) and Josh, and a special aunt of Hunter, Saige, and Ashton.

Predeceased by her step-father Larry, father-in-law George, and mother-in-law Mary.

She spent many years working as a QMA and took great pride in helping care for the elderly and intellectually disabled. She loved NASCAR and enjoyed trips to the Indy 500 with her husband and children. She loved going to play BINGO with her mom and sister.  She enjoyed listening to country music and was a huge fan of Luke Bryan.  She was a wonderful cook and loved trying out new recipes.

Most of all she loved her family and being a grandmother.  She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Rans Funeral Home and Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport, IN.

Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Shumate Funeral Home in Middlesboro, Kentucky.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at the Barnett Cemetery in Middlesboro.
