Julie LaPlante

Julie LaPlante, 60 of Big Pine Key, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

She was born on July 25, 1958, she was the daughter of the late wonderful Mary LaPlante and Charles R. LaPlante

Julie formerly owned and operated her own Tree trimming and landscaping business named LaPlantes tree service.

She was a devout fisherman/woman and loved to boat and catch fish. Nothing made her happier than enjoying a good time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her son, Shawn LaPlante of West Lafayette, grandchildren, Alexandria LaPlante, Destiny LaPlante, Anastasia LaPlante and Isiah LaPlante, brothers, Doug LaPlante, Clayton LaPlante and sister, Ruth LaPlante

She was preceded in death by her son, Chad LaPlante who just passed last February. They will both be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Crematory.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
