Kenneth A. Eastwood, 67, of Kewanna passed away unexpectedly at 12:55 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2019 at his residence.
Born on February 27, 1952 in Franklin, Indiana, he was the son of the late Donald P. and Hazel Mae (Snow) Eastwood.
On February 3, 1973 he married Mae Bartram. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2017.
Ken was a life-long and talented brick mason, drawing plans and building anything he set his mind to. He loved old cars, trucks and hot rods. He enjoyed the outdoors, western movies and country music.
Ken was known for his kind heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. But most of all, Ken loved his family. He loved providing for and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to him. He is now home with his soul mate, Mae and baby daughter, Stephanie. He is free.
He was a member of Church of the Heartland in Winamac.
Survivors include his daughters, Ange Blanchard (Jordan Brown) and Trina Doty (Josh Demond), both of Kewanna, son, Nicholas Eastwood (Crystal Henry) of Kewanna, brothers, Larry Eastwood (Barb) of Arizona, Terry Eastwood (Patty) of Kewanna, Phillip Eastwood (Debbie) of Kewanna, Rick Eastwood (Cindy) of Virginia and Gary Eastwood of Argos and a sister, Susie Eastwood of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved him dearly.
He was also preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie Crissinger, sons-in-law, Brian Doty and Christopher Blanchard.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
