Larry Dean Crockett

Larry D. Crockett, 70, of Logansport passed away at 6:35 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Lafayette.
Born on September 11, 1942 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mary Gladys (Humphrey) Crockett. On September 20, 1963 he married his high school sweetheart, Carol Boyd, she survives.
He was a 1961 Logansport High School graduate.
Larry was a retired Tool and Die Engineer. He was formerly employed at Small Parts and Humphrey Tool. He also formerly owned and operated Acorn Enterprises. Larry enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and working around the home.
Survivors include his wife, Carol of Logansport, son, Kevin Crockett of Eugene, Oregon, sister, Patty Bowman of Logansport, brother in law, Robert Boyd (Vickie) of Kokomo and beloved granddaughter, Karah Crockett of Logansport.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
