LaVina M. Todd

LaVina M. Todd, 84, of Royal Center passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at her residence.
Born on August 17, 1926 in Hammond, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Mayhew) Brackett. On April 8, 1942 she married Clifford A. Todd and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1990.
LaVina was a Homemaker who was a 42 year member of the Royal Center Order of Eastern Star, Royal Center Pythian Sisters, Logansport V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the Cass County Lady Democrats. LaVina enjoyed working the polls during election time, reading and sewing.
Survivors include her children, Constance M. Johnson and husband Bricky of Lebanon, Bruce C. Todd and wife Cheryl of Ft. Wayne and Darrell G. Todd and wife Christina of Logansport, sister, Marva J. Lavery of Portage, 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Vernon and Stanley Brackett and sisters, Carroll Todd and Shirley Werts, 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2010 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
