Letcher O. Robinson

Letcher O. Robinson, 97, of Brownsburg passed away at 5:15 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Brownsburg Healthcare Center.
Born on April 30, 1913 in Delong, he was the son of the late Letcher A. and Nora (Deck) Robinson. On December 1, 1968 he married Mary E. Rose in Kewanna and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2002.
He was a 1931 Leiters Ford graduate and a U.S. Army veteran.
Letcher formerly owned and operated Capitol City Construction Company in Indianapolis.
He was a former member of the Order of Odd Fellows in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his children, Sandra (Sandy) Petree of Wyoming and Darryl Robinson of Kentucky, step son, Roger Medford of Indiana, brother, Bill Robinson of Indiana, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by daughters, Claudia Dickerson and Donna Kay Owens and 6 sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel.
Burial will be at Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery at a later date.
