Lewis “Frank” Conklin Sr., 60, of Logansport, passed away at 4:35 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.
He was born on December 16, 1954 in Logansport.
Frank was a graduate of Pioneer High School.
He was a former truck driver for Pasquale Trucking, and he was also a roofer for many years.
Frank was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Peru.
He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his four special grandchildren; Jaden, Madison, Elijah, and Kyle.
Survivors include his parents Rose and Gene Conklin of Logansport, daughter; Brandi Hetzner and Daniel of Mexico, Indiana, son; Howard Conklin and Amanda of Logansport, sons; Lewis Conklin Jr., of Ohio, and Jason Conklin of Logansport, daughters; Shawnetta Wilburn of Logansport, Crystal Corley of Texas, and Jeannie Conklin of Ohio, brothers; Dale Conklin and Kat of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ron Conklin of Logansport, Robert Lee Williams of Kokomo, and Billy Conklin of Logansport, sisters; Judy Fry and Ron of Logansport, Robin Hildebrant of Logansport, Tina Conklin and Jim of Logansport, and Debra Phillipy and James of Huntington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his biological father, Lester Conklin Sr., and brother, Lester Conklin Jr.,
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Kelly Spencer officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
