Linsey Allen Britton III., 62, of Logansport, passed away on June 25, 2017 at his residence.
Born on April 17, 1955 in Clinton County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Linsey and Mary (Groover) Britton II.
Linsey was a 1973 graduate of Logansport High School.
After High School, he joined the United States Air Force where he served during Vietnam as a Flight Engineer flying C130’S AND F150’S from 1973 through 1985 where he received many ribbons, including the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Outstanding Unit Award with two Oak Clusters, and the Air Force Good Conduct medal with three Oak Clusters.
Linsey was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Survivors include sister, Carmoleta Cochran (Brian) of Rochester, and nephew, Britt Simmons of Logansport.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 6:30 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Father Dominic Petan officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
