Lois E. Cohagan

Lois E. Cohagan, 98, of Logansport passed away at 7:28 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Woodbridge Health Campus. Born on February 23, 1914 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late David and Grace (Evans) Pattee. On December 24, 1933 she married Wilbur C. Cohagan and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1990. Lois was a 1933 Kewanna High School graduate. She was a retired Beautician and she was former Bookkeeper for Cohagan Equipment Company in Mishawaka. Lois was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, South Bend. She was an avid golfer and she enjoyed reading, singing and spending time with family. Survivors include her daughter, Kay D. Rees and husband Ronald of Logansport and grandchildren, Tom Clem of Logansport and Kayanne Murray of Rochester. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Herman, Roy and Morris Pattee and sisters, Ruth Marchel and Jody Pattee. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Citizens I.O.O.F.
