Services for Lorene D. Davis, 65, of Monterey, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.A�A�
She died at 12:29 p.m.Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.
Born on May 27, 1943 in Pulaski County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Leora (Passmore) Cooper.
Lorene was formerly employed at Var-Pak in Bass Lake and she also liked to bowl, go for long drives and play with her dog Bear".
Survivors include her husband Walter "Jim" Davis of Monterey sons Frederick J. Oswalt of Palm Beach County Florida Bryan E. Oswalt of Greencastle step son Tim Davis of Monterey step daughter Shawnna Dillinger of Auburn brothers Don Cooper of Doniphan Missouri and Harry J. Cooper of Winamac sisters Olive Querry of Winamac and Jennie J. Whittaker of Yucaipa California 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. She also had many nieces and nephews who called her "Aunt Cook".
She was also preceded in death by 1 son 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Pastor Don Franklin will officiate at the service and burial will be at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Monterey.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday 10/24/10 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home Royal Center and 1 hour prior to the services on Saturday.
