Lorie J. Berkshire

Lorie J. Berkshire, 62 of Royal Center passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2024 at St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on March 7, 1962 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Virginia (Foust) Smith.

She was a 1980 Pioneer High School graduate.

On October 3, 1981 she married Tim Berkshire, he survives.

Lorie had recently retired from Four County in Logansport.

She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Berkshire of Royal Center, daughters, Sarah VanMeter (Shawn) of Royal Center and Katlin Berkshire (Steve Brown) of Royal Center, brother, Kenneth Smith, sister, Rebecca Johnson (Kenneth) and grandchildren, Noah, Joslin, Chase and Luke.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Danny Smith and sisters, Mary June McIntire and Norma Howard.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., November 20,, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
