LuAnn Cohn, 65, of Kewanna went to be with the Lord at 2:35 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.
Born May 10, 1954 in Gary, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucille (Martin) Long.
She was a 1972 graduate of Edison High School in East Gary.
On December 5, 1998 she married Harold “Hal” Cohn, he survives.
She was formerly the Pastor at Burton Richland Center United Methodist Church.
LuAnn was a volunteer of the Walk to Emmaus, the Great Banquet retreats, Chosen Children Ministries of South Carolina and a former CASA volunteer. Her hobbies included crocheting and reading. She especially enjoyed her mission trips with Chosen Children Ministries. LuAnn was an avid prayer warrior. She was also an avid Chicago Blackhawk fan.
Her greatest accomplishments were raising 3 boys and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Harold “Hal” Cohn of Kewanna, children, Sean Connors (Rebecca) of Bloomington, William Connors (Jamie) of Hobart, step-son, Nick Cohn of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and grandchildren, Devin Connors, Ean Connors, Abbey Connors, Tobias Connors and Keaton Connors.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 at Kewanna United Methodist Church with Pastor Darren Williams officiating.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna, IN. 46939 and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
