M. Ann Good, 66, of Grass Creek passed away January 30, 2008 at her residence.
Born November 20, 1941 in Kewanna, she was the daughter of the late Donald & Helen (Oliver) Hizer.
She was a 1959 graduate of Grass Creek High School, a graduate of Manchester College where she received a B.S. degree in 1971, and she was also a 1975 graduate of Indiana University where she earned her Masters degree in education.
Ann was a Special Education teacher for Logansport Joint Services. She taught at Logansport, Peru, Kewanna, Caston, Winamac and for many years at Pioneer, retiring in 1999 after 28 years.
She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and also volunteered at Rochester Community Schools. Ann enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are 1 son, Brad R. Good (Kathy), Rochester; 1 daughter, Kris K. Good, Indianapolis; 1 brother, Joe Hizer (Carol), Kewanna; 1 sister, Jane Hizer, Rochester; 4 grandchildren, Cory, Casey, Maggie and Libby Good, all of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be private.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 123 E. Main St. Kewanna.
