Mable I. Geisler, 93 of Rochester formerly of Kewanna passed away at 3:14 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 at her residence. Born March 2, 1919 in White County, she was the daughter of the late George and Leonia (Goss) Cochran. On August 10, 1937, she married Chester A. Geisler and he preceded in death May 6, 2003. Mable was a homemaker. She and her husband enjoyed dancing in their younger years and she also liked to play cards and win. Mable loved living on their farm. She was a member of the Kewanna Church of Christ and a former member of the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary in Logansport. Survivors include her son, Larry Geisler of Enola, AK., daughters, Mary Glasford of Macy, Leona Talbott of Mansfield , OH. and Marge Davis of Muscoda, WI., several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 at the funeral home and also one hour before the time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens in Winamac.
