Margareth Oldendorf Coffman, 94, passed away Thursday evening, June 4, 2009 in Palm Gardens of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Born July 17, 1914, in Lebanon, Ind.,she was the daughter of Walter Phillip and Blanche Ethel Truitt Oldendorf. She was married in Lebanon Aug. 13, 1938, to Charles Macer Stevens Coffman, who preceded her in death Feb. 13, 2001. The Coffman&8217;s retired to Port St. Lucie from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She and her husband were active in the Mead Johnson Retirees Association, traveling to meetings throughout the state and producing the association&8217;s newsletter for several years. Margareth was an avid bridge player who also enjoyed reading and keeping current with the news, especially politics. Her hobbies also included working with stained glass, creating unique windows, wall- hangings, and keepsakes. Survivors include one son, Charles (Skip) Oldendorf Coffman and his wife, Judy , Port St. Lucie; two daughters Margo Anne Marocco and her husband Louis, Logansport, Ind., and Judith Huber, Hillsborough, N.J.; four grandchildren, and eight great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Moore Oldendorf. Final arrangements are pending, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice in care of Marocco Funeral Home.
