Mark L. Brummitt

Mark L. Brummitt, 46, of Lafayette formerly of Logansport passed away unexpectedly in a hit and run accident in Lafayette on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
Born on November 6, 1967 in Newport News, Virginia, he was the son of John Brummitt and Linda Fiedler.
Mark was employed at Wabash National in Lafayette and he enjoyed fishing and playing basketball.
Survivors include daughter, Shannon Brummitt Baer of Clearwater, Florida, one son, Zachary, mother, Linda Schrimsher of Logansport, brothers, Burley, David and Kevin Brummitt all of Logansport and sisters, Kathy Hill and Mary Osburn both of Logansport. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, John Brummitt, Sr. and brother, John Brummitt, Jr.
Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
