Mark Y. Laing

Mark Y. Laing, 59, of Logansport passed away at 12:25 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born on April 3, 1952 in Logansport, he was the son of James and Geraldine (Wright) Laing.
Mark was a 1972 Logansport High School graduate and had attended the San Francisco Culinary Academy. Mark also enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He had been a cook at several restaurants over the years. Mark lived and worked in Dana Point, California for 30 years.
Mark is survived by his parents James and Geraldine Laing of Logansport, grandmother, Julia Laing of Logansport, and sisters, Sandy Coffman of Walkerton, Karla Douglass of Coral Springs, Florida, Jennifer Zimmer of Winamac and Laura A�A�?A�A...?FiA�A�?A�i�� Laing Palitz of Newport Beach, California. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Scott Laing.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Marocco A�A�?A�??Rans Funeral Chapel with Deacon Juan Rodriguez officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
