Mark Polen

Mark Allen Polen, 23, of Lucerne passed away at 7:32 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at his residence after a 10 year courageous battle with cancer.
Born on September 28, 1992 in Logansport, he was the son of Terry and Holly (Norman) Polen.
Mark was a 2012 Pioneer High School graduate.
He played youth league baseball growing up and then wrestled and played football for Pioneer High School. He was also a member of 4-H.
Mark farmed with his dad and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending diesel truck and tractor pulls and bow fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Terry and Holly Polen of Lucerne, brother, Nicholas Polen of Lucerne and sister, Danielle Henry (Josh) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by brother, David Allen Polen, grandparents, Allen and Velva Jean Polen and John and Jean Norman.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Tim Minnick officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kewanna Citizens IOOF Cemetery.
