Marlena Marie Busard, 29, of Logansport, Indiana passed away at 4:10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital Cardiovascular Transplant Unit with End Stage Congestive Heart Failure.
Born on November 5, 1990 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Kian (Sprague) and Richard Lohrman. In the year 1997, Marlena was adopted into the family of Ronald and Kian Busard.
Marlena was a 2009 Pioneer High School Honors Graduate. She was a 4 year member of the swim team and Art Club. She was also active in Track, Volleyball and all 4 years of Powderpuff Football. After she graduated she attended ISU and Ivy Tech to pursue a Nursing career.
She formerly worked at Cato’s, Family Video both Logansport and Indianapolis locations, Pharos Press, Wings Etc., Prodigy Burger and Bar, and The Andersons.
Her hobbies were visiting Amusement Parks, specifically roller coasters. She enjoyed movies of all genres but mostly Horror. She enjoyed Rock hunting and painting with her daughter. As well as bike rides, visits to the park and walks with Rhaelyn and Diamond (Family Pet).
Survivors include her daughter Rhaelyn K. Busard of Logansport, Indiana. Parents, Kian and Ronald Busard of Logansport, Indiana. Brothers, Kyle Busard (Dara) of Alabama and Nathan Busard of Tennessee. Maternal grandmother, Marlene Moore of Logansport, Indiana and Birth Father Richard L Lohrman of Brazil Indiana Praternal Grandparents, Sharon Lohrman of Brazil, Indiana and grandfather, James Lohrman of Brazil Indiana. Maternal Aunt Abigail Funkhouser (Travis) of Monticello, Indiana. Paternal Aunt Jayme Payne of Brazil, Indiana, Uncle Jimmy Lohrman (Lacey) of Clinton, Indiana, Aunt Leslie Rardin (Jack) of Greenwood Indiana and Aunt Tracy Colsten (Bruce) of Ohio. She is also survived by 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Marlena was preceded in death by Maternal Aunt Tonya Sue Sprague and Maternal Grandfather Steven A. Moore.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date by invitation only.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
