Martha L. Smith

Martha L. Smith, 82, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly at 12:35 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 10, 1936 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late George and Donna (Rans) Smith.

Martha was a Kewanna High School graduate.

She was formerly employed at the Swirly Top Drive Inn, Fulton County ASCS office and the Rochester Truck Stop.

Martha enjoyed working crossword puzzles and chatting with people.

Survivors include her sister, Janet Arnold of Logansport, niece, Julia Ann Middleton of Silver Lake, nephews, Jeff Hoffman of Rochester and Jason Arnold (Holly) of Mentone, great nieces, Bella Arnold and Alexis Burge of Mentone and brother in law, Jerry Howe of Winamac.

She was also preceded in death by sister, Joann Hoffman Howe and brothers in law, John Hoffman and Jerry Arnold.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
