Marvin D. Franscoviak

Marvin D. Franscoviak, 74 of Logansport, passed away at 8:50 a.m., Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Pulaski Healthcare Center in Winamac.

Born on February 26, 1950 in Francesville, he was the son of the late Bernard “Ted” and Maxine (Johnson) Franscoviak.

Marvin was an Indiana University Kokomo graduate where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. 

On October 12, 1974 he married Sandra K. Sterling, she survives.

Marvin retired from Smithfield Foods in Peru. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra K. Franscoviak, children, Janet York (Brian), Matthew Franscoviak (Heather), Ryan Franscoviak (Laura), Aubrey Franscoviak and Kristen Franscoviak (fiancé, Kenny Bishop), brother, Rick Franscoviak (Pat) and sister, Peggy Okeley and sisters-in-law, Kay Franscoviak and Judy Franscoviak. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by siblings, Francis, Jerry, Ronnie, Linda and Lisa and brother in law, Bob Okeley.
