Mary Edith St. Clair, 96, of Grass Creek passed away at 10:25 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on October 27, 1914 in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lloyd and A. Lucile (Beckley) Morphet. On September 20, 1936 she married Joseph Edgar St. Clair and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1993.
She was a member of Grass Creek United Methodist Church, Ladies Aid, and the 20th Century Home Ec Club for over 50 years. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, word finds and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was also a wonderful story teller of family history.
Survivors include her children, Edith Sell and husband Carl of Logansport, Phyllis Hauser and husband Dan of Rochester, Carolyn Hardebeck and husband Dave of Tipton and Joe St. Clair and wife Judy of Grass Creek, brother, Don Morphet and wife Jean of Royal Center, grandchildren, Eugene Sell of Royal Center, David Sell of Logansport, Lucy Marshall of Mexico, Dale Hauser of Mountain View, California, Duane Hauser of Muncie, Don St. Clair of Los Angeles, California, Mary Culp of Logansport and Fred Baker of Texas, and 19 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Francis and Carl Morphet and granddaughter, Debbie Templeton.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grass Creek Cemetery.
